membership meeting is April 15, 2009. This
evening promises to be exciting and informative! This is a wonderful opportunity
to network with like-minded educators as you enjoy the buffet dinner provided by

Andrea Perry is an author and poet. Andrea
loves rhyme and was raised on a steady diet of Dr. Seuss.
She has published in children’s magazines, parents’ magazines,
teaching journals, craft books, and poetry anthologies.
Here’s What You Do When You Can’t Find Your Shoe was followed in
2007 with The Snack Smasher, And
Other Reasons Why It’s Not My Fault.

Sarah Seaton, our membership coordinator, set up an email
address for SRC membership purposes, which is senecamembership@gmail.com
Seneca Reading Council supports a Shelter Project.
Personal care items are collected and distributed to local shelters.
A box for these items is provided at each meeting.
Seneca Reading Council collects items for Clarion Safe, Jefferson and
Venango
County
shelters.
Seneca Reading Council supports International Projects.
Books for Babies – grants are written to fund this project.
Volunteers are needed to purchase, sort, and distribute books to
Venango’s Welcome Every Child and
Clarion
Hospital
.
Clarion
University
students organized a book drive for St. Jude’s Hospital in
Tennessee
.
Mark your calendars! Children’s
Day at the Cranberry Mall is March 29, 2009.
Volunteers are needed.
